  1. Thorough vacuuming and sweeping to remove loose debris and dirt
  2. Damp mopping with a neutral floor cleaner
  3. Removal of accumulated dirt from the corners and surface; also removal of any black marks from shoes
  4. High speed buffing with a nylon pad to remove scuffs and bring your floor to a shine
  5. Application of hardwood floor finish, which dries within an hour

 


Oil/wax Finish: The L. J. Cress Method

 

  1. Thorough vacuuming and sweeping to remove loose debris and dirt
  2. Buffing with fine steel wool and misting with orange cleaner to loosen and remove dirt trapped in the grain of the wood
  3. Application of wood restorer, which has a stain pigment that will restore color to the wood and return oil back into the floor
  4. Application of paste wax with a dark or light toned paste, depending on the color of the floor
  5. Final buffing with steel wool to remove excess wax from the surface and give it a low luster shine
  6. Final vacuuming and sweeping
